Bradford City Girls play in the West Riding Girls Football League and are always looking out for new players.

"We want to win games and would never try take any competitive edge away from any of our girls and the teams; we just focus on the development of the player over results."

"We strongly believe in player development and thus have no bar as to ability levels when recruiting girls," Charlotte explained.

Despite the growth though, the aims of the section remain the same. Bradford City WFC is focused on getting girls into football, getting them to enjoy playing, but also - and always - on developing them as players too.

"Over the last three years we've gone from no teams to six teams and this year we have created another two (U11s and U18s), which is a fantastic achievement for the club."

"As a club we are delighted with the progress we've made, but we don't want to rest on our laurels and stand still," Charlotte said.

Charlotte now oversees the development of eight age groups and a growing team of qualified coaches, but Bradford City WFC does not want to stop there.

With age groups ranging from U10s all the way through to U18s, it is a junior section to be proud of - especially for Charlotte Stuart, who, alongside current U13s boss Paul Scott, started it with only two teams back in the summer of 2013.

Ahead of the new 2016-17 season, BCWFC boast eight junior teams, as well as a tots session for four to six-year-old girls. At the other end of the scale the club also has three adult teams; the first team playing in the FA Women's Premier League.

Bradford City Women's Football Club has been running now for 28 years, and for the last three years, the club's junior section has only been growing and growing.
