Bantams boss Phil Parkinson is hoping City can carry the feel-good factor from Saturday's stunning 4-0 win at Peterborough United into Tuesday's home game with Southend United.
City will return to the Coral Windows Stadium this Tuesday evening to face Southend in a rearranged fixture fresh from their dominant display against Peterborough at the ABAX Stadium.
Parkinson felt the Peterborough victory was reward for City's hard work on the training ground leading up to the match but he knows another big effort will be needed against the Shrimpers.
Parkinson said: "There were so many fine individual performances on Saturday but we know that Tuesday will be another tough one for us.
"Phil (Brown, Southend United manager) has his sides well organised and we are expecting Southend to give very little away.
"Southend had a spell around the turn of the year where they conceded a few goals but they have recently changed their shape and become a lot more resolute.
"Like a lot of games in this division, Tuesday's game might be a tight encounter and we all may have to stay patient.
"Every result in this division is hard-fought but we have every chance of picking up a victory on Tuesday if we play with the same effort and determination as we did at the weekend.
"We have very honest players here and a very committed group of staff members working with me - it makes results like Saturday all the more rewarding.
"We have regrouped this (Monday) morning and we are ready to go again."
Parkinson continued: "There were obviously plenty of positives to take from Saturday.
"James (Hanson) has taken his two goals really well, and (Kyel) Reidy probably has played one of his best games of the season.
"I thought Wes (Thomas) also played well.
"We knew when we brought him into the club that he was a bit under-cooked in terms of his fitness levels and we took the decision as a group of staff not to rush him into things too soon.
"We chose to be patient and wait for him to be right before playing him from the start.
"He is with us for the rest of the season and we want to get the most out of him. I was pleased with his performance on Saturday."
