PUBLIC LECTURE TO HIGHLIGHT ON-GOING PSBRU WORK

26 February 2016

City supporters can receive an update on the latest work undertaken by the PSBRU (Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit) during the University of Bradford Public Lecture at the beginning of next month.

The evening of lectures and discussions will take place between 6:00pm and 7:30pm on Wednesday 9 March 2016.

With the PSBRU - more commonly known in the past as the Bradford Burn Unit - normally the main organisation of choice when it comes to any fundraising set up by the club and its supporters, the event will give fans the opportunity to see how some of the money collected is being used.

Last year - 2015 - saw the 30th anniversary of the Valley Parade fire disaster. Next month's public lecture will hear from the Unit's clinical and scientific researchers as they reflect upon their work and on the successful fundraising and commemorative activities for this landmark anniversary.

The panel of lecturers will include Mr Ajay Mahajan, the Director of the Plastic Surgery and Burns Research Unit, and Mr Alan Carling, Chair of The Remembrance Panel for Bradford City.
