The funeral of life-long Bradford City supporter David Hustler QGM is to take place at 12:30pm this Friday (8 January 2016) at Nab Wood crematorium.

The courtege is scheduled to pass by the Coral Windows Stadium at approximately 12:00noon - 12:10pm on Friday.

David's family would like to invite his friends and well-wishers to attend the funeral service and the wake in City's 2013 Suite afterwards.

The 76 year-old sadly passed away towards the end of October last year after a short, unexpected illness.

David will have been a well-known person among a large number of his fellow City supporters following his heroic actions during the 1985 Valley Parade fire disaster.

Mr Hustler helped to save the lives of two people as fire took hold of the main stand on that tragic day in May over 30 years ago.

The former Shipley resident was given the Queen's Gallantry Medal (QGM) for his bravery.
