Stuart McCall's Bantams will kick off their programme of pre-season friendlies this Saturday (9 July 2016) at National Conference side Guiseley.

The game will be McCall's first in charge of City since his return to Valley Parade as manager for a second time last month.

Kick off at Nethermoor will be 3:00pm.

After the Guiseley game, McCall's men will play away at Gateshead the following Saturday (16 July) on the way up to their training base in Scotland.

The Bantams will play at Gateshead International Stadium before continuing their way north up into Scotland after the fixture.

Once in Scotland, City will enjoy a week of intense training while also fitting in a friendly at St Johnstone on the Tuesday (19 July).

City will return to England on Friday 22 July ahead of their first home fixture of pre-season against Premier League side Burnley the day after (Saturday 23 July).

The week after will see McCall's squad travel to near neighbours Bradford (Park Avenue) on the Wednesday (27 July), before finishing their schedule of summer games at home to Carlisle United (Saturday 30 July).
