SEASON TICKET UPDATE - NEW SEATS RELEASED

Following a recent surge in sales in the past few days we have now sold over 11,000 season tickets. Thank you for your fantastic support as always.

Furthermore the club wish to announce that we are able to release approximately 500 new seats in the Lower Kop stand that were previously unavailable.

These are the front three rows that have been covered by advertising banners sponsored by our legal partner Petherbridge Bassra for the past few seasons.

We have agreed to relocate these banners to another area of the stadium in an attempt to make seats available and help fans that want to buy tickets and sit together.

We have spent the last few days ringing fans who haven’t yet renewed their seats and we are aware of two distinct issues. The first is that some are waiting until after the seat renewal deadline before committing to a season ticket (to see if groups of seats become free).

The second is that not every fan and especially perhaps those that do not use social media are not fully aware that the current seat renewal deadline is this Sunday 3rd July after which any unsold seats will be made available.

Many also explained that there has only been one end of month  ‘pay day’ since we launched the campaign and so have not been in a position to buy.

Naturally we want to give all fans the longest possible time to renew their seats but also respect that others are waiting to see which seats become available.

As such the club have decided to extend the deadline as follows:-

The new date to renew and reserve your existing seat will be Sunday 17 July. This will be the final date for the lower prices.

After this date all prices will increase (e.g. adults from £149 to £299). At the same time unreserved seats will be released and anyone wishing to change seats to other available areas can do so FREE of charge.

We fully understand that there are many fans that have been waiting until Monday to see which seats may be available and we respect that. However if sales continue as they have done in recent days, all or a significant number of our 18,000 season ticket holders may renew.

If this happens there will be very limited seat availability in the stadium as before so our advice would be that, if you are wanting to take advantage of the lower prices to buy now to avoid missing out. To assist fans we will still offer the option of moving FREE of charge to any better available seats at any time after the 17th should they be available.

The new seats in the lower Kop are now on sale immediately for fans waiting to sit togetherand we would like to place on record our thanks to Petherbridge Bassra for enabling us to release the new seats.
