The Bantams will begin their pre-season schedule for the 2016/2017 campaign with a friendly at near neighbours Guiseley on Saturday 9 July 2016.

The fixture, City's first outing with Stuart McCall back at the helm, will kick off at 3:00pm at Guiseley's Nethermoor ground.

Managed by former Bantams defender Mark Bower, Guiseley ensured their spot in the Vanarama National League for another season with a dramatic last day victory over Torquay United back in April.

The Guiseley match is City's fifth confirmed pre-season fixture so far this summer.

The Bantams will host Premier League side Burnley (Saturday 23 July) and League Two's Carlisle United (Saturday 30 July) at Valley Parade next month.

Stuart McCall's side will also play away at St Johnstone (Tuesday 19 July) and Bradford Park Avenue (Wednesday 27 July). The St Johnstone friendly will be part of a week-long stay in Scotland for the City squad.

The club have verbally agreed as well to a friendly fixture at Gateshead on Saturday 16 July. McCall's men are expected play the match on the way up to their Scottish hotel base.
