KWVR TO PROMOTE CITY SEASON TICKET CAMPAIGN

24 June 2016

This coming Sunday (26 June 2016) the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway will operate the ‘Bradford City FC Excursion’ train, departing Oxenhope Station at 2:00pm.

The collaboration follows the launch of City's £149.00 season ticket promotion for the forthcoming 2016/2017 season.

A number of the Railway’s volunteers who are City season ticket holders will team up with a ‘Worth Valley Supporters Branch’ service. City mascot Billy Bantam and members of the Bradford Disability Football Club will also ride on the train.

The group will meet from 1:00pm at Oxenhope Station ready for the service train to arrive at 1.40pm, with the opportunity for photographs before the engine runs round for the departure at 2:00pm.

City fans are more than welcome to attend the event. Oxenhope Station is located on Mill Lane in Oxenhope, Keighley (BD22 9LB).

It is hoped that this type of collaboration will give some supporters the chance to fondly recall the days when steam excursions took most fans to away games and even to some big cup finals.

The rostered locomotive will carry the Excursion headboard for the following week, promoting the ‘onefournine’ offer, which ends on July 17th.
