After reaching £60,000 last night (Thursday), the campaign is gaining real momentum, especially on the back of Wednesday night’s Legends event which managed to raise £6,000 for the campaign!
The event which was to officially launch the Former Bantams Association and was attended by Bradford fans and legends such as Stuart McCall, Dean Windass and John Hendrie amongst others.
The dinner had speeches from legends of different eras giving their first hand experiences of their time at Bradford. During the event there was a chance to take home more than memories.
An auction was held to raise money for City's #UpgradeTheParade campaign and through a winning combination of great memorabilia to be had and generous Bantams fans a whopping £6,000 was raised all together! So thank you to everyone that attended the event and bought items at the auction. There is also talk of the legends offering some experiences for auctions later in the campaign so keep your eyes peeled!
