Bradford City have confirmed that six players will leave the club in the summer following the conclusion of the 2015/2016 season.

First team squad members Christopher Routis, Steven Davies, Billy Knott, Alan Sheehan, Dylan Mottley-Henry and Sam Wright have been informed that their contracts will not be extended beyond the end of June and they are to be released from the club.

Routis and Sheehan have already secured moves to Ross County and Luton Town respectively ahead of the new season.

Having spent the whole of the 2015/2016 campaign out injured, Joe Brennan has been invited back to take part in pre-season training this summer.

The Club are currently in discussions with Greg Leigh, Nathan Clarke, Ben Williams, Jamie Proctor, Joe Cracknell and James King over extending their contracts.

Loan players Josh Cullen, Kyel Reid, Lee Evans, Tom Thorpe and Reece Burke have all returned to their parent clubs.

The rest of Phil Parkinson's first team squad are under contract for the 2016/2017 season.

Apprentice midfielder Daniel Devine has been offered a one-year deal with the football club. Reece Webb-Foster has already signed a professional contract at City having put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year deal last November.

All of City's other second year scholars - Luca Mellor, Kesi Omolokun, Xander McBurnie, Sumaili Cissa, Chandler Hallwood, Ross Kershaw, Giovanni Landu and Jack Waters - will leave the club.

Bradford City would like to place on record its gratitude to the players leaving the Coral Windows Stadium for all of their efforts during their time with the club.
