KILGALLON AND GILLIEAD BACK IN CONTENTION

28 April 2017

Bantams duo Matthew Kilgallon and Alex Gilliead could both be involved in City's trip to Rochdale this Sunday.

Stuart McCall's men travel to the Crown Oil Arena at the weekend for their final league game of the season ahead of the play-off semi-finals, with Kilgallon and Gilliead in contention to feature after returning from injury.

Kilgallon hasn't played for City since January after suffering serious shoulder damage, while Gilliead picked up a tear in his hamstring during the away win at Coventry City back in March.

The pair have both taken part in full training this week, and City assistant Kenny Black says they have every chance of picking up some game-time against Dale.

Black said: "They will certainly be in the equation when it comes to picking a squad (for Sunday).

"Alex Gilliead and Matt Kilgallon have managed to get some good training sessions under their belt this week so we know they will be up to speed.

"We are not sure whether they will start the game, that is something for me and Stuart (McCall) to speak about, but we definitely look forward to the possibility of having them back in the group."
