Perhaps with one eye on next week's semi-finals, McCall has only kept Rory McArdle and Alex Jones in his starting line up from the eleven that began last Saturday's win over AFC Wimbledon.
Fit-again duo Matthew Kilgallon and Alex Gilliead both start, with Kilgallon set to partner McArdle in central defence.
Stephen Darby, who will skipper the side, and Kevin Toner will operate from right and left back respectively.
Behind that foursome, German shot-stopper Rouven Sattelmaier will play his second league game of the season. Ironically, his first also came against Rochdale.
Timothee Dieng and Daniel Devine will be City's central midfield pairing at the Crown Oil Arena.
Along with Gilliead, Jordy Hiwula and Billy Clarke will be asked to support Jones in attack.
Young professionals Daniel Pybus and Jacob Hanson, plus loanee defender Matthew Penney, will join the experienced pair of Colin Doyle and Nathaniel Knight-Percival on City's bench.
Ellis Hudson and Curtis Peters, both of whom signed pro deals with the club this season, are also named among the Bantams' substitutes.
