DOYLE NAMED IN PROVISIONAL IRELAND SQUAD

14 August 2017

Bantams shot-stopper Colin Doyle has been named in the Republic of Ireland's provisional squad for their forthcoming double-header with Georgia and Serbia.

Doyle has been included in a 39-man squad for the two upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Ireland are due to play away to Georgia on Saturday 2 September before entertaining Serbia at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Tuesday 5 September.

Doyle, who kept a clean sheet in Saturday's win at Gillingham, has been named in a number of Ireland's most recent squads, including their triple-header with Mexico, Uruguay and Austria back in June.

If selected in the main stand, Doyle will join up with Martin O'Neill's national side after City's Sky Bet League One match at Walsall (26 August) towards the end of the month.
