BOYESON TO TAKE CHARGE OF CHESTERFIELD GAME

29 August 2017

Match official Carl Boyeson will take charge of City's opening Checkatrade Trophy group game at Chesterfield this Tuesday evening.

Mr Boyeson will officiate the Group F match (northern section) between City and the Spireites at the Proact Stadium (kick off 7:00pm).

The experienced official has taken charge of two Sky Bet League Two games and one fixture in League One so far during the 2017/2018 campaign.

His last match in charge of City came way back in December 2013 when a late goal from a Nahki Wells free-kick earned the Bantams a 1-1 draw at home to Leyton Orient.

Mr Boyeson will be joined by assistant referees Alf Greenwood and Paul Hobday for the Checkatrade Trophy match.

The fourth official at the Proact Stadium will be Steven Copeland.
