Stuart McCall's Bantams entertain Oxford United at the Northern Commercials Stadium this Saturday (30 December 2017) in their final Sky Bet League One fixture of the calendar year.

1. Seeing out the year
After a highly successful twelve month period for the Bantams, McCall's men finish off their schedule for 2017 with the visit of Oxford to Valley Parade this Saturday. The calendar year has seen McCall's side reach the play-off final and become an almost ever present in the top six over the course of the past two campaigns. Can the Bantams complete a positive period for the club with success in their final game of the year?
2. Two in three
City's home encounter with Oxford will be the first of two games for the Bantams in just three days either side of the New Year's celebrations. Following the encounter with Oxford on Saturday, McCall's men then take on Fleetwood Town at their Highbury Stadium on New Year's Day. Last season's New Year's double-header saw City collect four points from matches against Bury and Northampton Town. How will the Bantams fare this time around?
3. Changes expected
With City's next two games coming in a period of just three days, McCall is expected to make changes in the two matches in a bid to keep his squad fresh. The likes of Shay McCartan, Timothee Dieng, Nathaniel Knight-Percival, Omari Patrick and Jake Reeves - all of whom started on Boxing Day from the bench - could be in line for starting berths against either Oxford and/or Fleetwood. 4. Ignoring Oxford
Saturday's opponents Oxford drew 1-1 at Gillingham on Boxing Day in their first match since their eye-catching 7-0 home defeat to promotion-hopefuls Wigan Athletic. As damaging as that Wigan loss may have been to Oxford's morale, City will do well not to read too much into that painful defeat. Oxford are unbeaten in their last four away matches, drawing their most recent three fixtures on the road.
5. Taylor on the mark again?
After netting two in his last two games, Paul Taylor will be aiming for another goal to add to his recent collection when City play host to Oxford this Saturday. Taylor's long-range drive against Peterborough was his fifth goal of the campaign, and City's fiftieth in all competitions this season. Any goal for Taylor against Oxford would move him into clear second in City's scoring charts ahead of Dominic Poleon and Romain Vincelot, with only Charlie Wyke (11 goals) ahead of him.
