MORAIS DEPARTS

31 January 2017

The Club can confirm that Filipe Morais has now left Bradford City by mutual consent.

Morais departs the Northern Commercials Stadium after just over two and a half years of service with the Bantams.

Joining in August 2014, Morais has gone on to make 71 appearances in total for City, scoring eight goals in the process.

His role in the Bantams' memorable run to the 2015 FA Cup quarter-finals will ensure the Portuguese winger's time at Valley Parade will certainly be remembered fondly by supporters.

Morais also returned from a long-term knee injury last season to help play a part in City's play-off semi-final encounters with Millwall last May.

The football club would like to give a big thank you to Filipe for all of his efforts in City colours and wish him all the very best for the future.
