The match at Glanford Park will now kick off at 12:30pm.
The fixture will be City's first to be shown live by Sky Sports so far during the 2016/2017 campaign.
City and Scunthorpe drew 0-0 on Boxing Day at the Northern Commercials Stadium in the first encounter between the two sides this season.
The Bantams defeated Scunthorpe 2-0 in last season's fixture at Glanford Park thanks to goals from Tony McMahon and Greg Leigh.
