DAY ONE DONE FOR THE BANTAMS IN AUSTRIA

11 July 2017

Stuart McCall's Bantams enjoyed a profitable first full day in Austria, completing two high-energy training sessions at their Kleinwalsertal base.

McCall's men are fortunate enough to be training on a pitch surrounded by the beauitful local scenery, including some of the eye-catching mountainside in the region.

City were able to get the footballs out in the morning, with a strength & conditioning circuit led by fitness coach Chris Short also squeezed in ahead of the break for lunch.

After letting their food digest, it was back down to the training pitch for another session in the afternoon for the Bantams.

The session again featured plenty of work with the football - arguably even more intense that in the morning -  before the players' work for the day was ended with a spot of running.

The Bantams' full travelling playing squad of twenty-two were able to take part in both sessions.

City's players and staff had to cope with changeable weather conditions throughout the day - periods of sunshine and showery spells - but the group should be more than happy with their first day efforts.
