The mechanics of the FlexiCard have been changed radically for this coming season, below are guidelines for their use.
The first thing is that the actual FlexiCard will not be issued as in previous seasons, the ticket office staff will rely on the ticketing system to confirm that a customer has purchased a flexi card for the season.
Whilst FlexiCard holders have been allocated specific seats, there are certain conditions which must be met to ensure the booking for a specific seat for a particular game.
The FlexiCard match ticket must be purchased in advance of the game.
In the case of a Saturday game the ticket must be purchased by 5:00pm on the preceding Thursday.
For example, the opening game against Blackpool, any flexi card holders must have purchased their seat by 5:00pm on Thursday 3 August, to guarantee their own allocated seat, and the flexi price.
For games played on a Tuesday evening, the deadline will be the Sunday before the game.
The ticket can be purchased directly at the ticket office or online.
Provided the ticket is purchased and there is sufficient time to do so, the ticket will be posted out, if not the ticket can be collected from the ticket office on the day of the game. In this case the allocated seat will be booked and the cost of the ticket will be as follows.
Adults - £10.00 (or £15 if in a suite area)
Concessions - £7.00 (or £9.50 if in a suite area)
Juniors - £6.00 (or £8.50 if in a suite area)
If the match ticket is booked after this deadline the FlexiCard price will not be available and the holder will be asked to pay the appropriate rate at the time of booking. This price is as follows.
Adults - £20.00 or £25 dependant on whether booked on the matchday itself, plus £5.00 for any bar upgrade.
Concessions - £14.00 plus £5 for any bar upgrade
Juniors - £12.00 plus £5 for any bar upgrade
At this point it may not be possible to allocate the season ticket seat as all seats reserved for flexi
card holders which are not booked by the deadline, will be released for general sale.
There will be no opportunity to pay cash at the turnstiles, any tickets must be purchased from the ticket office by cash or card (Amex cards not accepted). Any FlexiCard customer will be given a match ticket upon payment of the appropriate amount, this match ticket will be their means of accessing the stadium, and negates the need for either a plastic card or the flimsy receipts given out in previous seasons.
