CHARLTON ATHLETIC (AWAY) - FIVE THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR

13 March 2017

The Bantams head south to London this Tuesday (14 March 2017) for their Sky Bet League One fixture with Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

Ahead of the Charlton encounter, www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk takes a look at five potential talking points for this Tuesday evening...

1. Three in a row?
Stuart McCall's men will go into the match with Charlton looking for their third league victory on the trot and their third successive clean sheet. City have already secured three straight league wins on two separate occasions during the 2016/2017 campaign, can they achieve it for third time this season at The Valley?

2. Long time coming
This Tuesday's match will be City's first game at The Valley in over sixteen years. The Bantams' previous away fixture with Charlton came back in November 2000 when both sides were in the Premier League. Early goals from Jonathan Johansson and Graham Stuart helped the Addicks secure a 2-0 win.

3. Final Tuesday night
The Bantams' match at Charlton is scheduled to be their final evening game of the regular season. City have lost only one of their six previous midweek league fixtures so far during the 2016/2017 campaign.

4. 'Local' game for City duo
Tuesday's trip to Charlton will be a 'local' fixture for City duo Mark Marshall and Josh Cullen. Marshall grew up in London and still has a base in the area, not too far from Charlton actually, while Josh Cullen, of course, came through the ranks at West Ham United.

5. 'Drawn' together?
Tuesday's encounter at The Valley will see the two sides with the most draws so far in League One come together. Charlton have drawn 16 league fixtures, City one better with 17. Such a stat might suggest another stalemate but it is certain both sides will be going for the victory.
