DOYLE KEEPS HIS PLACE IN IRELAND SQUAD

Bantams 'keeper Colin Doyle has kept his place in the Republic of Ireland squad for their forthcoming international double-header.

After two days of training at the FAI National Training Centre, Ireland boss Martin O'Neill has trimmed his squad down from 39 players to 27, with Doyle being named as one of three goalkeepers.

Former Bantams loanee defender John Egan, now with Brentford, has also kept his place in the squad.

Ireland play host to Wales in a FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifier this Friday (24 March 2017) before entertaining Iceland in a friendly four days later.

Both games are due to be played at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
