Job Advertisement – Academy Manager


Bradford City Football Club is looking to appoint an inspiring Full Time Academy Manager to lead their academy.


The role will involve providing the project management and strategic planning functions of the Youth Development program. 


To be in charge of the academies management team, setting the academies culture and professional standards. 


You will be responsible for managing the academies resources including facilities, budgets and staff. Ultimately this role will be measured through the standard and quantity of players coming through the program into the development squad and in turn the first team.


The successful candidate will recruit, manage and develop staff as well as managing and developing players. Strong communication lines will be built between the Chairman and the first team staff to aid in this role.


If you have the ability to inspire others to develop their skills and lead a professional youth program working to the highest standard, that produces elite footballing talent, this is the position for you.

We are looking for an individual who is determined to succeed and who has a proven track record in professional football and youth development.


DBS clearance, safe guarding and protecting children and first aid for sport are essential and the role requires the job holder to have a Level 4 sports coaching qualification. Ideally as a minimum, this would be the UEFA A Licence qualification in football or Level 5 Pro Licence. Also desirable is the Advanced Youth Award.

Job Advertisement – Head of Coach Development

 

Bradford City Football Club is looking to appoint an inspiring Full Time Head of Coach Development to lead their academy coaching program.


The role will involve running and designing the development program of the academy, which will involve managing and developing the coaches to maximize the potential of the players they work with. 


To implement a coaching competency framework to progress coaching competence through training needs analysis and development plans.


The successful candidate will conduct coaching sessions with the players at all levels of the academy and observe coach performance to provide feedback to aid development.


If you have the ability to inspire others to develop their skills and deliver football coaching to the highest standard that produces elite footballing talent of the future this is the position for you.


We are looking for an individual who is determined to succeed and who has a proven track record of sports coaching in elite learning or football development.


DBS clearance, safe guarding and protecting children and first aid for sport are essential and the role requires the job holder to have a level 4 sports coaching qualification or equivalent level 4 professional qualifications in people development; ideally this would be the UEFA A Licence qualification in football or Advanced Youth Award. Also desirable is a qualification at degree level in sports science, education, psychology or pedagogy.
