The season may have ended with defeat at Wembley Stadium at the weekend, but the 2016/2017 campaign will still be remembered for many moments of excitement and entertainment.

Taking a look back at the season as a whole, we have gone through some of the key numbers from the last ten months of football.

21,874 - the biggest attendance at the Northern Commercials Stadium during the season (vs Scunthorpe United - Boxing Day).

4,3888 - City's biggest away following of the season (vs Bolton Wanderers - 24 September 2016).

57 - the total number of games played by City during the 2016/17 campaign.

51 - the number of appearances made by Romain Vincelot during the season - the most by any City player in the 16/17 campaign.

44 - the number of match-days that the Bantams were in the Play-Offs for during the 46-game regular league campaign. In fact, Stuart McCall's men never dropped lower than fifth in the table from 16th August 2016 onwards.

23 - the number of games City went unbeaten throughout the league campaign at the Northern Commercials Stadium.

21 - the number of clean sheets kept by City in league and cup throughout the season.

17 - the number of goals Mark Marshall was involved in during the season (6 goals and 11 assists).

12 - Jordy Hiwula's goal tally for the season. Hiwula was City's top-scorer for the campaign. Charlie Wyke scored 25 goals and Alex Jones 15 goals respectively, athough a number of their goals came for previous clubs.

12 - the number of games City were unbeaten for at the start of the season. The Bantams were actually the last side to taste defeat at the beginning of the campaign in Sky Bet League One when they were finally beaten at Oxford United in October.

7 - the amount of league defeats suffered by City. Only champions Sheffield United lost fewer in League One.

5 - City's average league position throughout the season.
