LEAGUE ONE PLAY-OFF FINAL - FIVE TALKING POINTS

18 May 2017

Stuart McCall's Bantams travel to Wembley Stadium this Saturday (20 May 2017) for their all-important Sky Bet League One Play-Off Final with Millwall.

With a place in the Championship for next season at stake, Saturday's encounter at Wembley is likely to be a titanic tussle between two in-form sides.

Ahead of the mammoth match-up, www.bradfordcityfc.co.uk takes a look at five possible talking points for this weekend...

1. We've off to Wembley!
Nearly two weeks after City secured their spot in the play-off final at Fleetwood Town, Stuart McCall's Bantams and their legions of supporters will finally get the opportunity this Saturday to enter the home of English football. It will be City's first visit to Wembley since the League Two Play-Off Final victory over Northampton Town just over four years ago. Wembley is arguably one of the greatest stadiums around in the sporting world at the moment, who's a little excited already??!!

2. Can we do it?? City are one game away from reaching the second tier of English football for the first time in thirteen years. Millwall will undoubtedly prove to be a very tough challenge for McCall's men but can they produce on the big stage for one last time this season?

3. Wembley hat-trick?
This Saturday's encounter will be the Bantams' third ever Wembley play-off final. City were victorious in both of their previous finals, in 1996 against Notts County and in 2013 against Northampton Town. Can McCall's side make it a hat-trick of Wembley play-off wins for the Bantams?

4. Jones back in the mix
With Alex Jones now back in full training, the striker is expected to come back into contention for this Saturday after missing both of City's play-off semi-finals against Fleetwood Town. Fit-again, will the 22 year-old come back into the side at Wembley?

5. Familiar opponents
It is safe to say that Millwall will be no strangers to City come this weekend. The Bantams and the Lions have met eight times previously since the start of 2015. Both encounters in the league this season between City and Millwall ended 1-1, who will come out on top at Wembley this Saturday?
