Following Blackpool's Play-Off Final victory over Exeter City at Wembley Stadium last Sunday, the line-up for the 2017/2018 Sky Bet League One campaign has now been finalised.
City's fixture schedule for the league season is set to be confirmed on Wednesday 21 June 2017.
League Two
Along with Blackpool, the three clubs of Portsmouth, Plymouth Argyle and Doncaster Rovers will also be moving up into League One for next season after promotion from League Two.
City have faced Blackpool and Doncaster Rovers as recently as the 2015/16 season, with the Bantams claming home and away victories over both during that particular campaign.
The Bantams' last match against Plymouth Argyle - City's longest away journey of the new league season - came during the club's memorable 2012/2013 season.
You have to got as far back as 2003, however, for City's most recent encounter with League Two champions Portsmouth.
Championship
Moving down from the Championship into League One for next season are the trio of Rotherham United, Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers.
As was the case with Blackpool and Doncaster, the Bantams and Wigan last featured in a league encounter during the 15/16 season.
Rotherham are also no strangers to City, with the South Yorkshire side a regular opponent for the Bantams until recent years.
Unlike Rotherham though, Blackburn won't be so familiar to the Bantams. Rovers haven't actually played against City in over twenty-seven years.
League One
Any trip to Fleetwood Town next season will obviously bring back positive memories for many City fans after the club's play-off success there at the start of May.
Helped in part by recent Checkatrade Trophy and Emirates FA Cup matches, City's two league fixtures against Bury next season will be eighth and ninth meetings between the two sides since October 2015
City will be hoping to maintain a recent strong record against Milton Keynes Dons. The Bantams are unbeaten in their last six league encounters against the Dons.
With Oldham Athletic and Rochdale in League One once again for next season, the two sides remain City's nearest neighbours for the division.
