Stuart McCall's four-midable Bantams recorded a comfortable away victory at in-form Milton Keynes Dons.

Against an MK Dons side with three wins from their last four matches, City looked in control throughout, eventually running out 4-1 winners at Stadium MK.

City dominated from the first whistle, and the hosts were soon down to ten men with only five minutes on the clock.

Jake Reeves, who impressed throughout, robbed Aaron Tshibola of the ball just outside the box, leading to the MK Dons midifelder bringing him down on the edge of the area with only home goalkeeper Lee Nicholls to beat.

Tshibola was given a straight red card for the foul, with City quickly making their one-man advantage count.

Romain Vincelot headed the Bantams into the lead from a Tony McMahon corner.

Charlie Wyke then doubled City's lead less than twenty minutes in with a deflected strike from outside the box.

McCall's men looked in complete control at this stage, but MK Dons gave themselves a life-line on the stroke of half time when Ethan Ebanks-Landell headed in from a corner.

The goal understandably gave the hosts some extra belief going into the second period, but City still looked largely in charge of proceedings.

The Bantams arguably clinched the points twenty minutes from the end when Nicky Law and Matthew Kilgallon combined to see the latter square the ball for a simple tap-in for Wyke - his sixth goal of the season.

MK Dons briefly threatened a response almost straight after but Colin Doyle, who joined back up with the squad on Saturday morning from Ireland international duty, saved well from Osman Sow, Chuks Aneke and Ed Upson in fairly quick succession.

City then put the seal on an impressive performance and result eight minutes from the end of normal time, sub Paul Taylor latching onto Reeves' ball over the top to finish neatly past Nicholls for his first goal for the club.
