Match referee Scott Oldham will officiate City's Sky Bet League One fixture with Milton Keynes Dons this Saturday (7 October 2017).
The Blackpool-based official is in his first year as a referee at EFL level.
He has been in the middle for 7 matches so far in the early stages of the 2017/2018 campaign, including 2 in League One.
Mr Oldham took charge of 18 games at National League (Conference) level last season.
The assistant referees at Stadium MK will be Simon Knapp and Rob Smith.
The fourth official for the MK Dons game will be Kevin Johnson.
