Stuart McCall's Bantams entertain Bristol Rovers at the Northern Commercials Stadium this Saturday (2 September 2017).
The game will be City's first in the month of September and first since the closure of the summer transfer window.
Ahead of the visit of Bristol Rovers to Valley Parade, we take a look at five possible talking points in the build up to kick off.
1. Back on home soil
After two away consecutive away games, McCall's men return to the Northern Commercials Stadium on Saturday to take on Bristol Rovers. The Bantams' previous home match saw them lose out in a tight encounter with Blackburn Rovers - a result that ended City's long-running unbeaten home league record. Can the Bantams return to winning ways in front of their own fans this weekend?
2. Don't forget the early kick off!
No 3:00pm start for the Bantams this Saturday, the action begins slightly earlier this time around! City's game with Bristol Rovers is scheduled to kick off at 12:30pm.
3. Sky Sports cameras
The reason for Saturday's early kick off is that the match is being broadcast live on Sky Sports. The game will be City's first home match live in front of the television cameras since the first leg of last season's play-off semi-final with Fleetwood Town. The Bantams won 1-0 that day - can McCall's men come out on top once again in front of the Sky Sports cameras?
4. New shot-stopper in the squad?
German goalkeeper Lukas Raeder joined the Bantams on transfer deadline day this Thursday. Subject to the Club receiving international clearance, Raeder could be in the match-day squad for Saturday's game with Bristol Rovers. Fellow recent signing, Adam Thompson, won't be available, however, as he is currently away with the Northern Ireland national squad.
5. Attacking options
With the Bantams having scored seven goals in their last two games, City are likely to have plenty of attacking options at their disposal for the visit of Bristol Rovers. Like Thompson, Shay McCartan is currently away on international duty with Northern Ireland, but McCall will still have a number of attackers vying for starting berths. Charlie Wyke is back to full fitness now after a hamstring injury, while Dominic Poleon, Alex Jones and Omari Patrick all netted on their most recent starting appearances. Alex Gilliead and Paul Taylor have also caught the eye recently, giving McCall food for thought ahead of the Bristol Rovers match.
