Stuart McCall's Bantams welcome Fleetwood Town to the Northern Commercials Stadium this Tuesday (26 September 2017) in their latest Sky Bet League One fixture.
Ahead of the Fleetwood encounter, we take a look at five possible talking points going into Tuesday evening...
1. Meeting up with Fleetwood again
After four tight and keenly-contested encounters with Fleetwood last season - including two play-off semi-final contests - City get ready to entertain the Cod Army at Valley Parade once again next up. Tuesday's game will be the first encounter between the two sides since the Bantams booked their place at Wembley last May. Can City claim more success over Fleetwood come Tuesday evening?
2. Meeting up with two former strikers as well
As well as welcoming back a familiar opponent from last season, City will also get the opportunity to see two former Bantams at the Northern Commercials Stadium once again. After netting 12 goals for City last season, Jordy Hiwula is currently within Fleetwood's squad on loan from Huddersfield Town. Another member of Fleetwood's frontline - Devante Cole - spent a period with the Bantams during the 2015/16 season. Cole is currently Fleetwood's top-scorer with 6 league goals.
3. Mirroring last season
Tuesday night's game at home to Fleetwood Town will be City's tenth league game of the season. Interestingly, City's league home match with Fleetwood last season was also their tenth fixture of the campaign. This Tuesday's game will also be officiated by Graham Salisbury - the same referee who took charge of last season's fixture. Going into the Fleetwood home league match in the 2016/2017 campaign, City had 15 points after 9 games. The weekend win at Northampton Town put the Bantams on 20 points after the same amount of matches.
4. The possibility of changes?
Speaking after the win at Northampton, Stuart McCall discussed the possibility of making changes for this Tuesday's match against Fleetwood. McCall is certainly no stranger to switching things around during midweek matches in a bid to freshen things up. If changes are to be made though, which players could earn a call-up into the side for the visit of Fleetwood?
5. Five for Fleetwood
Discounting last May's play-off semi-final first leg, this Tuesday's trip to the Northern Commercials Stadium will be Fleetwood's fifth ever encounter in league football at BD8. City have won three and drawn one of the previous four matches.
