The Club are delighted to announce that Martin House Hospice raised £2821.34 after hosting a bucket collection at the Northern Commercials Stadium last Saturday.

Over 800 City supporters voted for Martin House Hospice to host a bucket collection before kick-off against Oxford United (24th November).

With over 19,000 supporters entering the stadium, over 40 Martin House volunteers put on their orange hi vis jacket and made themselves known to supporters and raised £2821.34 for the hospice.

Chris Verney, Community Fundraiser for the Bradford area, said: “We had a fantastic time at Midland Road, the club and the fans were incredibly welcoming.

"We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the Bradford supporters for donating such a tremendous amount of money to Martin House, and thanks also to our team of volunteers who came along and rattled buckets around the ground.

“It costs £22,000 a day to run the hospice, so the money raised by Bradford City fans will make a real difference to the children, young people and their families who come to Martin House.”

In the lead up to the big event, Kelvin Mellor went to visit Martin House Hospice to show his support of the charity:
