WYKE APPEAL REJECTED

28 February 2018

City striker Charlie Wyke will miss the Bantams' next three Sky Bet League One fixtures after the Club's appeal against his red card at Plymouth Argyle was rejected by The FA.

Wyke was dismissed for violent conduct in the final minute of normal time during City's game with Plymouth at Home Park last Saturday.

The Club decided to appeal the sending off but the three-game ban was upheld by The FA's Regulatory Commission.

Wyke is now scheduled to miss City's home triple-header against Portsmouth (3 March 2018), Milton Keynes Dons (10 March) and Wigan Athletic (14 March).
