LINCOLN REMEMBERS

11 May 2018

On this day, 11 May, let us not forget our friends from Lincoln City, who tragically lost two supporters in the Valley Parade fire disaster.

Below is a brief message from Lincoln as the Imps also take the time to reflect and remember the horrific events of 33 years ago.

Today, Friday 11th May 2018, marks the 33rd anniversary of the Valley Parade Stadium disaster involving Bradford City and Lincoln City.

56 supporters lost their lives on the tragic day in 1985, including Lincoln City Directors Bill Stacey and Jim West.

Saturday's final league game against Yeovil Town saw Bob Dorrian, Trevor Swinburne and Chris Ashton lay a wreath in memory of the 56 in front of the Stacey West Stand, named after Bill and Jim.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who lost their lives, and the ones affected by the events of the day.
