David Ball insists confidence is high ahead of City's latest Sky Bet League One outing.

The Bantams travel to Luton's Kenilworth Road tomorrow having picked up four points from their last two league games.

Ball bagged his first City goal on home soil as David Hopkin's side overcame Oxford United at the Northern Commercials Stadium.

The striker said: “The intent in the squad is really starting to show.

“We are all fully confident we can go to Luton and get something. We have to have a positive mindset.

"The players here are better than what we have shown of late. In the last few games we have displayed a much more resilient side of us.

"We will face Luton with the mindset from the last month or so and give everything we have to try and get three points."

Saturday’s 2-0 success over Oxford United saw more than 19,000 supporters witness Ball’s first Sky Bet League One goal for the Bantams.

He added: "I was delighted for every single person who turned out. It is massive for the lads, fans, staff and everyone involved with the club.

"We had been working hard towards Saturday and what it brought for us.

“I was over the moon to get on the scoresheet. It was a bit of a blur for a second or so as I waited for it to go in!

“We defended as a team and are starting to show real strength as a group. We are digging in for each other and putting our bodies on the line. I hope the fans can see that because the atmosphere helped so much.

“It is incredible to play in front of so many supporters. It makes a big difference to have that support.

"It builds up adrenaline, meaning everyone works harder and gives that little bit more.

"We have to do our job on the pitch to give everyone a lift and they give us it back in a big way.”

PLEASE NOTE: Supporters wishing to travel to Luton tomorrow are advised that you will not be able to pay on the gate.
