City Head Coach David Hopkin has made three changes to his starting XI for this Saturday's Sky Bet League One fixture with Bristol Rovers.

Following Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy encounter with Everton U21s, Hopkin has brought Ryan McGowan and Eoin Doyle back into his team for City's second match at Northern Commercials Stadium in the week.

The fit-again Kelvin Mellor has also returned to the side after missing the last three matches through injury.

Doyle takes over the captain's armband once again following his return to the team.

Thomas Isherwood and David Ball have moved down to the bench as a result of Hopkin's alterations.

Jack Payne and Kai Bruenker are also included on City's list of substitutes for the Rovers match.

Nathaniel Knight-Percival misses out altogether due to illness.
