ABOUT THE GROUND

The Alexandra Stadium, more commonly referred to as Gresty Road, has housed Crewe Alexandra since 1906.

The ground undertook a major redevelopment in the 1990s, with all four of the ground’s stands becoming all-seated.

City supporters will today be housed in the Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van Stand

Built in 2001, this all-seated stand is situated behind the goal at the south end of the ground. It has a capacity of 1,390.

Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.

There are a number of pubs within walking distance of the ground. Brocklebank pub - a Brewers Fayre outlet - is popular with away supporters, with a large screen showing Sky Sports.

Down Nantwich Road, on the right-hand side just past the traffic lights is the Beer Dock, for those who enjoy their real ale, craft beers and a range of lager and ciders.

In the town centre is the Hops Bar on Prince Albert Street and a Wetherspoons outlet on Victoria Street, called the Gaffers Row.

Alcohol is available inside the stadium to away fans, serving bottle of Carlsberg.
