City are preparing for their 2019/20 Sky Bet League Two season opener against Cambridge United this afternoon.

We have compiled a handy Matchday Guide - packed full of useful information ahead of the 3.00pm contest.

Firstly we would like to extend a warm welcome to this afternoon's Big Match Sponsor, Peckover Transport!

The club would like to remind supporters the possession or use of pyrotechnics inside a football ground is strictly prohibited.

Those found to be carrying or using pyrotechnics will face a long-term ban.

We would like to remind supporters it is a criminal offence to enter the pitch at any time.

Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.

The Bantams Bar - located within The Kop at the Utilita Energy Stadium - will be open after full-time for supporters wishing to unwind after the match.

Our popular matchday competition will be back in place for the opening match, giving supporters the opportunity to walk away with a top prize of either the man of the match-worn shirt or £100 in cash!

Not only will you win this unique prize (second prize £100 in cash) but you will also meet the man of the match after the game who will sign the shirt and present it to you.

Tickets for this competition can be bought for just £1 from sellers located inside and around the outside of the ground. The winner will be announced at half time.

Cambridge United visit West Yorkshire following a 21st-place finish in Sky Bet League Two last season.

Colin Calderwood's men - like City - have recruited extensively in the summer transfer market, with seven new signings.

Be sure to grab a copy of Issue One of The Parader this afternoon, on sale for just £3 around the Utilita Energy Stadium.

The front cover of the Bantams' official matchday programme will feature the first in a collection of illustrations by Bradford artist Rob Dunn.

The City fan will be designing the cover for every edition of The Parader this season and has - this week - begun with manager Gary Bowyer who will also be the subject of 'The Big Interview'.

Other features include new columns with Aaron Bower - founder of Bantams Heritage - and The City Gent's Mike Harrison, a new Junior Bantams Reporter and the return of the popular Bantams Board.

The City Shop will be open from 10.00am until 3.00pm today to allow supporters another opportunity to get their hands on the Bantams’ 2019/20 home and away kits.

The new strips will be on sale along with City’s all-new training range!

Conditions are expected to remain dry for this afternoon's contest, with a cloudy day and mild temperatures of 22°C in store for supporters.

Enjoy the game!
