City supporters can now get their hands on a unique, limited edition 2020 charity calendar, featuring a photograph of two Bantams fans.

The calendar - released by world-renowned photographer Stuart Roy Clarke - includes a shot of the pair soaking up the atmosphere at the Utilita Energy Stadium.  

'The Power of Football' calendar was commissioned by Utilita Energy, one of City's principal partners, as Clarke shines his unique light on British football culture - on the eve of this century’s third decade.

Utilita are a rising supporter of football - from grassroots to the Premier League - with profits generated from the calendar going to its charity partner, The Prince’s Trust.

The calendar represents part of a new body of work from the photograher, focusing exclusively on Utilita’s partner clubs and the dedicated individuals who power the game at every level.

Sub-brand Utilita Football plan to release more content on their social channels - throughout the 2019/20 season - culminating in a full collection of work at the end of the campaign.

Clarke visited more than a dozen football matches over September and October to capture the imagery for the calendar, before whittling down thousands of pictures to his final 12.

Since 1989, he has visited hundreds of football stadia in addition to releasing the widely-acclaimed books, The Homes of Football and The Game.

Last year, Clarke's images formed a major exhibition at Manchester’s National Football Museum, while his work is also displayed at England’s training headquarters, St George’s Park.

He said: "Football, with so many clubs, is about belonging. It is not about not belonging.

"This project was designed by me to be a postcard home, a love letter, a sonnet to our folk and our nation from myself and Utilita."

"Thirty years ago, before all the young people we are helping were even born, I woke up one day with the conviction I should start a project as pluralistic as can be – based around football, our national game.

"With football - where few win anything but we try to keep up, compete and be part of something bigger - I feel we have the chance to be one."

The Power of Football is size A3 and costs £10 to purchase – with at least £7.50 from each sale being donated to the Prince’s Trust.
