BIG MATCH PREVIEW: LEYTON ORIENT v CITY

13 December 2019

City return to Sky Bet League Two action with a 3.00pm visit to Leyto Orient, this Saturday (3.00pm).

The Bantams will be looking to record back-to-back victories, after last week's win at home to Newport County.

Ross Embleton's side have endured a difficult opening half to the campaign and are currently sat 19th in the Sky Bet League Two table.

We have compiled a Big Match Preview packed full of everything you need to know ahead of the 3.00pm clash…

TEAM NEWS

City: Gary Bowyer again has a "selection headach" ahead of tomorrow's encounter.

Harry Pritchard, Ben Richards-Everton and Hope Akpan are again in contention, after missing last week's victory over Newport County.

There could again be places in the team for Matt Palmer and Shay McCartan, who made the bench in last week's match.

Leyton Orient: O's interim manager Ross Embleton is expected to still be without the sevices of club captain Jobi McAnuff and Brendon Shabani.

Craig Clay, however, is expected to shake an illness that prevented him being selected in the squad for last Saturday’s trip to Oldham.

WHAT THE MANAGERS SAID

Gary Bowyer: "We have done our research on Leyton Orient and know what to expect.

"They have had a terrible time in terms of management but have dealt with their circumstances admirably.

"I would imagine they will be looking forward to hopefully gaining a bit more stability and get settled."

Ross Embleton: "Bradford City is a magnificent football club and a great club in this league.

"They have got some very good players, so we know it is going to be a really tough challenge.

"Sometimes, games like this can really help you."

LAST TIME OUT

The Bantams' last meeting with Leyton Orient came in February 2015, in Sky Bet League One.
