Gary Bowyer has made one change to the starting 11 which drew with Salford City, for this afternoon's Boxing Day trip to Carlisle United.
Matt Palmer makes his first start in City colours since September after his recent return from injury.
Club captain James Vaughan returns to the bench however, with Jake Reeves ruled out through illness, Harry Pritchard skippers the side.
There are also places among the substitutes for returning due Jordan Gibson and Adam Henley.
