City manager Gary Bowyer has revealed his 2019/20 squad numbers ahead of the coming season.

Twenty-five members of the Bantams' first-team squad have been handed numbers, with a host of changes made.

Joe Riley has vacated the No.2 shirt and will now wear No.28. His number has been picked up by Kelvin Mellor, whose former No.15 shirt has - in turn - been filled by new signing Tyler French.

Fellow defensive recruits Jackson Longridge, Paudie O’Connor, Ben Richards-Everton and Adam Henley have picked up shirts No.3, No.4, No.5 and No.22 respectively. New goalkeeper Sam Hornby has been given the No.13 jersey.

New attacking signings James Vaughan and Clayton Donaldson have taken No.12 and No.10 respectively, with winger Zeli Ismail wearing No.11 and midfielder Matt Palmer donning No.16 over the duration of his season-long loan with the Bantams.

Jordan Gibson has moved from No.27 to No.17, while George Sykes-Kenworthy – having worn No.31 last season – will now sport No.30.

After spending last term out on loan with Lincoln City, Shay McCartan will wear the No.14 shirt he had before his spell at Sincil Bank.
