NEW-LOOK PARADER RETURNS THIS SATURDAY

31 July 2019

A new-look Bantams matchday programme will be on sale this Saturday - when City play host to Cambridge United in the club's Sky Bet League Two opener.

The Parader is back for the 2019/20 campaign, as The U's visit the Utilita Energy Stadium, and it will carry a special-edition illustration courtesy of Rob Dunn.

The programme includes a range of exciting new and exclusive material, with manager Gary Bowyer taking centre stage on the front cover for Issue One.

Bradford-born and lifelong City supporter Dunn will be designing unique cover artwork for every edition of The Parader throughout the season, adding to the collector’s item nature of the programme.

Dunn said: "I am delighted to be collaborating with City on this exciting project.

"It is great of the club to be supporting local people and their work, because the city of Bradford has so much to offer.

"Personally, as a City fan, it is hard to see where a better commission could come from.

"I am excited to see the printed programmes around the ground, on Saturday."

The Bantams’ director of communications, Ryan Sparks, added: “We are delighted to be working with Rob, giving The Parader an exciting new look for the 2019/20 season.

“With a full range of illustrations planned, we hope the matchday programme will prove a popular collector’s item.

“Working closely with Curtis Sport, we have given The Parader a fresh feel and added new and exclusive content for the season ahead.”

This term’s Parader also includes the introduction of a Junior Bantams Reporter.

For anyone aged under 16, the feature allows young City fans to send in their thoughts and memories from the previous home or away fixture, for publication in the programme!

Other new inclusions include weekly columns from the likes of Aaron Bower, with Bantams Heritage, Jason McKeown and City Gent editor Mike Harrison.

Popular columnists Katie Whyatt, John Dewhirst and David Markham all return, as Stefan Rupp reports 'From The Top'!

In addition, comes the continuation of the Bantams Board - where fans are able to send in special messages and photographs for others to appear in The Parader.
