There are just over three weeks remaining until Gary Bowyer's men get their pre-season campaign off the mark.

With training due to recommence before the end of the month, City face a trip to Nethermoor Park to face non-league neighbours Guiseley in their first friendly - on July 6.

The fixtures then come thick and fast for the Bantams, with another local trip to Brighouse Town the following Tuesday, before a mouth-watering bill-topper at home to Champions League winners Liverpool FC - in aid of the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation - on July 14.

A visit to Eccleshill United follows our meeting with Jurgen Klopp’s side, before City host Sky Bet Championship side Wigan Athletic.

The Bantams are to conclude their pre-season preparations by visiting Bradford (Park Avenue), to compete for the Tom Banks Memorial Trophy, and Rochdale.
