MATCHDAY GUIDE: CITY v BLACKPOOL

22 March 2019

As the Bantams prepare to host Blackpool this afternoon in Sky Bet League One action, we have prepared a Matchday Guide to remind you of what is on offer ahead of today's 3.00pm contest!

We would like to take this opportunity to give a warm welcome to today's Big Match Sponsor, Mercure Hotel, and Matchball Sponsor, RTC Transport

As always we ask supporters to get to the ground as early as possible for the game. Turnstiles will be open in all sections from 1.30pm.

The 2018-19 season continues with the introduction of coloured season tickets and this is as follows:

  • The JCT600 Stand (West) – Orange

  • The North West Corner – Black

  • The Kop (North) – Blue

  • The Northern Commercials Stand (East) - Yellow

For all turnstile entry information, click here.

PYROTECHNICS & BEHAVIOUR

The club would like to remind supporters that carrying pyrotechnics into a football ground or using them is strictly prohibited.

Those found to be carrying or using pyrotechnics will face a long-term ban.

We would like to remind supporters it is a criminal offence to go on to pitch at any time.

Anyone who does so without permission can expect to face prosecution.

HENDRIE SUITE CLOSURE

As always, we seek to offer fans a wide range of options for watching games and provide a professional and match day experience.

For our match against Blackpool FC on Saturday March 23 the dining option will be positioned in the Hendrie Suite.

This means - for suite members - there will be no walkway through from McCall to Hendrie.

The shutters will be closed to provide a private area for diners to take their meal.

Supporters with suite upgrades who normally use the Hendrie Suite can instead use the Legends Suite for this match, or indeed use the McCall Suite or the 2013 Lounge.

Once again, we would like to thank supporters in advance for their co-operation with these minor changes and hope that everyone will appreciate the Club’s attempts to offer the widest possible ranges of hospitality options to the followers of Bradford City.

WIN THE 'SHIRT OFF MY BACK'

Our popular matchday competition continues and one lucky supporter could walk away with the man of the match-worn shirt!

Not only do you get to win this unique prize but also you will get to meet the man of the match after the game where he will sign the shirt and present it to you.

And if that isn't enough, there is an additional prize of £100.00 to be won as well!

The winner of this special prize will be drawn and announced on the pitch at half time.

LEVEL PLAYING FIELD

This annual initiative - now in its 15th year - aims to celebrate access and inclusion for disabled sports fans across England and Wales.

Disabled people constitute the largest minority group at around 15%-20% of the population and this number is increasing year on year.

Naturally, a large number of disabled people are football fans and we are pleased to take this opportunity to thank our own disabled fans for their continued loyalty and dedication towards the club.

Some of Bradford City Disability FC's junior players will be showing us their skills on the pitch at half-time, and the club's disabled junior supporters will be flag waving to welcome the squad before kick-off.

BOLTON WOODS UNDER 11s CYPRIOTS TEAM

We are delighted to welcome today's mascots - the Bolton Woods Under 11s Cypriots team - who won the Craven & Wharfdale League last season, and the Clifton Rangers Tournament!

As well as walking the squad out before kick-off, the team will be doing a lap of honour at half-time to celebrate their achievements - so please give them a big round of applause!

BUCKET COLLECTION - COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS

Bradford City's Community Volunteers will be hosting a bucket collection to raise funds for the Bradford City FC Community Foundation - which will go towards the volunteering scheme they are part of.

They do an amazing job at the ground, throughout the week and on matchdays.

Please give generously, all donation are greatly appreciated!

THE PARADER

Ex-Blackpool loanee and current Bantam, Paudie O'Connor, is on the cover of today's issue of The Parader. O'Connor tells us about his performance against Manchester United earlier this week and his time at Blackpool FC and how it compares to Leeds United and Bradford City.

You can buy your copy for just £3 from The City Shop or Programme sellers who will be located at:

  • Bottom of Thorncliffe Road
  • Midland Road (away end)
