City are preparing to bounce back - away from home - when visiting Macclesfield Town tomorrow (3.00pm).

Daryl McMahon's side currently sit 14th in the Sky Bet League Two table, eight points above the relegation zone.

The Moss Rose outfit have spent a busy summer adding to their ranks, making 16 new singings with a further 19 moving in the opposite direction.

ONES TO WATCH

Theo Archibald: 

A 21-year-old, Archibald has been at the Cheshire outfit since penning a deal over the summer of 2019. 

The winger is a graduate of Celtic's academy and has also represented Brentford, and Scotland's under-21s, at international level. 

Michael Rose:

An experienced utility player, Rose's professional career dates all the way back to 2001.

The 37-year-old speant time at Manchester United, as a youngster, and has since represented the likes of Rochdal, Stockport County and Hereford amongst others. 

Nathan Cameron: 

Powerful defender Cameron has been in Cheshire since penning an initial two-month deal in November. 

The centre-half - capped by England at under-20 level - began his career at Coventry City before turning out over 140 times for Bury.

Jacob Blyth: 

A striker, Blyth worked his way through non-league before moving to Leicester City in 2012. 

Now 27, the 6ft 3ins man spent time at Burton Albion and Barrow, before signing for Macclesfield, over the summer.

THE MANAGER

Still a young manager, at 36, Daryl McMahon has held the Macclesfield hot seat since mid-August, this year. 

The Irishman enjoyed a long playing career, representing the likes of Leyton Orient and Stevenage - after graduaing from West Ham United's youth academy. 

A former midfielder, McMahon was capped by the Republic of Ireland at youth level and spent four years as the manager of Ebbsfleet United. 

THE CAPTAIN

A central defender, Fiacre Kelleher joined the Silkmen permanently - over the summer - following a successful loan stint, last season. 

The 23-year-old signed from Oxford United, having also spent time on loan at Solihull Moors. 

A product of Celtic's academy, the 6ft 3ins Irishman also enjoyed a period on loan at Peterhead - in Aberdeenshire - in the 2016/17 campaign. 

LAST TIME OUT

Macclesfield played out a 0-0 stalemate away at Salford City, last weekend.
