Gary Bowyer has called for his Bantams to approach Saturday’s game against Crawley Town with a similar, "determined" mindset.
Bowyer hailed the way City refused to underestimate Morecambe - who now sit bottom of Sky Bet League Two - in last weekend’s 2-1 triumph.
The Bantams boss insists his players must adopt the same mentality, tomorrow, in what he expects will be another difficult test against Gabriele Cioffi’s Red Devils.
Bowyer said: "We have watched Crawley on a few occasions, this season, and have been very impressed.
"They have recruited very well during the summer and are a good side with a lot of pace, power and size.
"We agreed - at the beginning of the season - that where teams finished in the league, last season, beared no resemblance on how they will fare, this time around.
"That is certainly clear with Crawley and we are preparing for another tough game.
"One of the most impressive things about last weekend was the way we respected Morecambe - despite their position in the league - and went about our own business.
"We are looking for more of the same, tomorrow, and are excited to get back in front of our magnificent home supporters."
Other qualities Bowyer expects his men to maintain include the passion, character and determination demonstrated in recent weeks.
The Bantams boss stressed the importance of regaining the culture of the football club - after a disappointing 2018/19 campaign - and believes his side is well on its way to doing so.
"Last season is last season and we were quick to put that firmly to bed," he added.
"It was important we got our recruitment right, during the summer, because we were keen to change the mentality and mindset of the group.
"So far, we have been extremely pleased with what we have seen.
"I walked into the dressing room - after the Morecambe win - and it felt as though we had lost, after conceding the late goal.
"The disappointment at conceding goals is encouraging to see. We really need to hammer these things home and continue with the same hunger.
"It has obviously helped by winning as many games as we have, which is why we need to keep doing so."
