Fit-again Dylan Connolly is looking forward to kicking on in claret and amber ahead of Saturday’s visit of Exeter City (3.00pm).

The flying winger has spent the past two matches sidelined with injury, but this week was back in full training.

And 24-year-old Connolly insists both he and the squad are in high spirits at the prospect of returning to Sky Bet League Two action.

The Dublin man said: "We all feel great. There is a good mood in the camp and we are all looking forward to Saturday’s game.

"In terms of fitness, I feel good. I have been back in training, all this week, and feel fit and strong.

"Hopefully, I can continue to kick on between now and Saturday and get back out on the pitch.

"No one enjoys watching games from the stands so I have just been itching to be back fit, again.

"I cannot wait to be back playing in front of our great home support and hopefully making an impact, on the field."

Despite defeat last time out, against Port Vale, Connolly insists confidence within the Bantams’ ranks is still high.

The AFC Wimbledon loanee expects Exeter to prove difficult opponents, but has called for he and his team-mates to rise the challenge.

He added: "Exeter are a good side who will work hard and play the ball well. It should be a good game.

"We have a great squad so are confident, heading into every week, of being able to win games.

"We know, if we are at it, we can beat anyone, in this league. We are all very confident of being able to get a result, at the weekend.

"We need to work hard and do everything right in hope we can get back to winning ways.

"We are all hungry and desperate to get another run going, to climb back up the league table.

"We have to show how hard we are prepared to work and how committed we are to the cause. If we do that, we should get our reward and come away with the win."
