Gary Bowyer is keen to see his Bantams continue moving forward ahead of tonight's trip to Cheltenham Town (7.45pm).
City secured back-to-back league victories for the second time this season, on Saturday, seeing off Walsall at the Banks's Stadium.
And Bowyer insists mood in camp is high ahead of this evening's visit to Gloucestershire.
He said: "We have been working very hard since the Walsall game to make sure we are as prepared as possible to face Cheltenham.
"The training ground is always a good place to be around, even more after an away victory.
"I have explained to the players, all along, how they control the mood in camp with their attitudes and, obviously, with how they perform on the pitch.
"Cheltenham are a very good team, one of the best I have watched so far, this season.
"I have been very impressed by them and they have a great manager who sets high standards from the top, down.
"It is about us going there and continuing how we have been resilient and comfortable being uncomfortable, to produce an even better performance.
"There are lots of smiles on faces and we have to try and build on the last two or three results and go again."
The Bantams boss was delighted with City’s defensive endeavour in the triumph over Walsall, as his current rearguard broke a 25-year record.
His side has conceded just five goals in the opening eight league games this term - their best return since the 1994/95 campaign - a statistic Bowyer has insisted is testament to the players’ character.
The City chief added: "The record is fantastic and hugely satisfying. I am very pleased for the players.
"They have seen a reward for their efforts and we have to keep progressing.
"The players’ desire and never-say-die approach has been admirable so far, this season.
"The best thing about the group, at the moment, is the fact we understand we have to keep moving forward and getting better. We are determined to do that."
Meanwhile, midfielder Jordan Gibson has been ruled out for up to three weeks after suffering a calf injury.
