After completing his transfer deadline day move to the Bantams earlier this week, loanee winger Dylan Connolly has been thrown straight in City's starting XI for the visit of Northampton Town to the Utilita Energy Stadium this Saturday.
Connolly, who joined on loan from AFC Wimbledon with just minutes of Monday's deadline to spare, comes into the side as Bantams boss Gary Bowyer makes three changes in total to the team that began City's previous Sky Bet League Two outing at Crewe Alexandra last weekend.
Fresh from impressive appearances at Crewe and against Bolton Wanderers in midweek in the Leasing.com Trophy, Harry Pritchard is handed his first league start for the Bantams by Bowyer.
The City chief's third and final alteration to the side that took to the field at Alexandra Stadium seven days' ago sees Daniel Devine return to the starting XI.
Striker Aramide Oteh, who also joined the Bantams on loan on deadline day, is named on City's bench against the Cobblers.
Coming on the back of his sub showing at Bolton on Tuesday, Zeli Ismail is also listed among the Bantams' list of possible replacements.
Callum Cooke is back fit after not being risked against Bolton due to a minor knock, but Jamie Devitt - who injured his hamstring at the University of Bolton Stadium - misses out.
