DARBY RIMMER MND FOUNDATION LAUNCHES '100K IN MAY CHALLENGE'

27 April 2020

Bradford City is delighted to be supporting the 100k in May Challenge - launched by The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation.

The initiative, challenging people to complete 100 kilometres throughout the month of May, is designed to raise funds for the charity and awareness for motor neurone disease (MND).

The foundation was officially launched last year by Bantams legend Stephen Darby and close friend Chris Rimmer, who have both been diagnosed with the condition.

Whether walking, running, swimming or cycling, the challenge encourages participants to cover ground to support this important cause.

Darby himself will be taking the challenge on, with Rimmer also admirably attempting the 100k on a wheelchair-adapted exercise bike.

Supporters can recieve a personalised shirt picture from the Darby Rimmer MND Foundation by CLICKING HERE to get in touch via Twitter.

The challenge has already raised close to £6,000 via its JustGiving page, with supporters urged to get involved where possible.
