City's Saturday 2 January 2021 visit of Morecambe has been postponed - following an outbreak in COVID-19 cases at the Mazuma Stadium.
The Shrimps have advised the EFL they are unable to fulfil their next two fixtures due to a number of positive tests within their camp, with players and first-team staff required to self-isolate in line with EFL and government guidance.
As a result, the Bantams' would-be first fixture of the New Year has been suspended.
Circumstances surrounding the postponements will now be the subject of an investigation in accordance with EFL regulations.
A new date for the rearranged fixture will be confirmed in due course.
